Students at both Lambeth College and London South Bank Technical College were given the chance to explore exciting future study opportunities during two lively Higher Education Fairs held on Tuesday 19th May 2026 and Wednesday 20th May.

The events, held at the Clapham Common campus and the Nine Elms campus respectively, brought together universities and higher education providers from across London and the wider UK. The fairs were designed to help students discover the many progression routes available after college, whether through university degrees, specialist creative courses, or industry-focused higher education programmes.

Representatives from South Bank Colleges were on hand to speak to students about the college’s growing range of Level 4 qualifications, offering practical and affordable pathways into higher education. Staff from London South Bank University also attended, providing guidance on undergraduate courses, student life, career opportunities and progression routes within the wider LSBU Group.

Alongside LSBU, students were able to meet admissions teams and course advisers from a wide variety of universities and specialist institutions, including University of Greenwich, University of East London, University of Portsmouth, Kingston University, University of Reading, University for the Creative Arts, Middlesex University, University of the Arts London, University of West London and University of Roehampton.

The fairs created a buzzing atmosphere across both campuses, with students gathering prospectuses, asking questions about courses and careers, and learning more about university applications, finance and student support. For many learners, it was a valuable opportunity to speak directly with university staff and begin thinking seriously about their next academic steps.

South Bank Colleges continues to support students in progressing to higher education, apprenticeships and employment, helping learners build clear pathways towards their future careers.
