What experience and skills will you gain?
You will learn the basics of accounting and finance, including bookkeeping, sales and purchase ledgers, processing invoices, payments, receipts, banking, financial records, data entry and using accounting systems. You will also develop attention to detail, confidentiality, communication, teamwork, customer focus and the ability to meet deadlines.

How will you be assessed?
You will be assessed through workplace evidence, practical accounting tasks, tutor reviews, progress meetings and preparation for End Point Assessment. Depending on the delivery model, you may also complete accounting qualification assessments. Your final assessment will check that you can carry out finance tasks accurately, follow procedures and work professionally in an accounts environment.
