June marks Pride Month 2025, a time to honour the LGBTQ+ community's history, achievements, and ongoing journey towards equality. At South Bank Colleges, we stand in solidarity with our LGBTQ+ students, staff, and allies, reaffirming our commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for all.

This year's Pride Month theme, “These Colors Don’t Run,” as announced by the Human Rights Campaign, serves as a powerful reminder of the resilience and unity within the LGBTQ+ community. It underscores the importance of standing firm against adversity and continuing the fight for equal rights and recognition.

Our dedication to inclusivity is woven into the fabric of our institution. From our diverse curriculum offerings to our commitment to creating safe and welcoming spaces across our campuses, we strive to ensure that every individual feels seen, heard, and valued.

We encourage our community to engage with Pride Month in meaningful ways—whether by participating in local events, educating themselves on LGBTQ+ history and issues, or simply showing support to friends and colleagues. Together, we can continue to build a community where diversity is celebrated, and everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

Happy Pride Month from all of us at South Bank Colleges.
